The module manufacturer from Prenzlau has announced the market launch of a new high-performance module series for January

aleo solar has announced the market launch of a new high-performance module series for January. The use of larger cells is new. Thanks to the new design, a 3 to 4 percent higher module output can be achieved. In the future, aleo will be able to offer the previous bestseller, a 60-cell module with white backing film, in the 325, 330 and 333 Wp power classes.

While standard cells have a format of 156.75 x 156.75 mm² with a diagonal of 211 millimeters, aleo uses fully square cells with a format of 158.75 x 158.75 mm² for its new modules. This also changes the module area. The 60-cell module now measures 1716 x 1023 mm² instead of 1660 x 990 mm² as before.


The extraordinarily high mechanical stability is further guaranteed by a plugged 42 millimeter thick frame. This makes them more stable and torsion-resistant, an important detail for the service life, because snow and wind loads are absorbed and the modules are suitable for larger snow and ice deposits (8000 pascal pressure load).

All high-performance modules have a 25-year product guarantee from the date of purchase. aleo guarantees the high power output of the modules for 25 years: in the 25th year of operation, at least 85% power output is guaranteed.


Like all aleo modules, the new modules are characterized by first-class processing of high-quality components. The new design is used for all high-performance modules as well as the project module and the building-integrated Solrif modules.


The most important facts about the new high-performance modules

• Up to 333 Wp for the 60-cell module, up to 265 Wp for the 48-cell module.

• All high-performance modules come with a 25-year product guarantee.

• Maximum 0.56% annual degradation guarantees 85.1% of the nominal performance in the 25th year of operation.

• 48 or 60 monocrystalline PERC cells, each with 5 busbars.

• 100% PID free.

• A 42 millimeter thick frame ensures maximum stability and torsional rigidity.

• Withstand extreme weather conditions up to 8000 Pascal pressure load.
